Google to launch messaging, voice service

Further expanding beyond its roots in Internet search, Google is launching a long-rumored program that provides both text instant messaging and computer-to-computer voice chat. [continue]

I installed Google Talk, looks decent I guess. I have not really used it, considering no one I know runs it.
It does look much cleaner, especially with no ads. But that really isn’t enough for me to switch, not unless everyone I talk to does. MSN, ICQ (six digit number), AIM and Yahoo, do I really need another IM client?
