I was riding on the R train uptown at 3pm on Friday August 18th when a man exposed and began molesting himself on the train. It was at the very end of the train but it wasn’t completely empty. A japanese couple sat on the other side and the man was sitting adjacent to me. I was minding my own business, taking the train to work as usual when this man got on the car and kept staring at me. I tried to avoid eye contact with him but I had a feeling he was up to no good when he kept massaging his crotch. I couldn’t believe this guy had the audacity to do something like this in the middle of the day! So I took out my cell-phone and turned on the camera. Then I aimed the camera at him and took a quick shot. [continue]

What a cushy world we live in when people become traumatized and violated by seeing a man rub his penis with his hand. Oops, forgot, he was staring at them.

I am sure he broke at least one indecency NYC law, so he should be arrested if found for whatever law(s) he broke.

It is interesting though, he was performing a sexual act, even if it was on himself. So if he is caught and prosecuted, does he become a ’sex offender’? Him having to register wherever he goes to live, possibly wearing a GPS tracking device in the future?

26 Aug 05 Men cleverer than women’ claim

Academics in the UK claim their research shows that men are more intelligent than women.
A study to be published later this year in the British Journal of Psychology says that men are on average five points ahead on IQ tests. [continue]

Let the hate begin, I think I hear the feminist shouting already.
I personally really do not care, even if the studies results were reversed.
In general, men and women each have abilities that each is better at.
Remember kiddies, different doesn’t not mean bad. And if one sex in general is more intelligent than the other when it comes to specific things, that is not bad, just different.

26 Aug 05 Frank doctor in trouble with authorities over advice

As doctors warn more patients that they should lose weight, the advice has backfired on one doctor with a woman filing a complaint with the state saying he was hurtful, not helpful. [continue]

Sometimes the truth hurts, but it has to be told.
If the woman did not like the advice, then she should have gone to another doctor. A doctor that would not tell her she was obese. As politically correct as we have gotten as a society, there are plenty of them out there.

25 Aug 05 Google to launch messaging, voice service

Further expanding beyond its roots in Internet search, Google is launching a long-rumored program that provides both text instant messaging and computer-to-computer voice chat. [continue]

I installed Google Talk, looks decent I guess. I have not really used it, considering no one I know runs it.
It does look much cleaner, especially with no ads. But that really isn’t enough for me to switch, not unless everyone I talk to does. MSN, ICQ (six digit number), AIM and Yahoo, do I really need another IM client?

24 Aug 05 Turkish Man Takes U.S., Britain to Court After Russian Wife Divorces Him

A businessman from the Turkish city of Iskanderun has applied to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR), demanding the U.S. and Great Britain pay him $1 billion in compensation each for his Russian wife divorcing him, RIA Novosti reported.
The man, who does not want to reveal his name, claims that his wife suffered severe mental stress due to the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq, fearing Turkey could intervene in the conflict, which resulted in her filing for divorce and returning to Russia together with their child. [continue]

umm, that is so insane, I have nothing to say.
